putting mods on a Rocketa 125

Recommended Posts

The only thing to do to that bike as far as engine would be to put an aftermarket CDI and adapter wire www.xr50.com/trbicdiwihac.html

as far as the front suspension thers not a whole lot that needs improving..

I've been told that a ishock for a klx 110 with a stiff spring is the one to use in the rear

Thats actually one of the better bikes Roketa sells, the are a very durable bike..

The only thing I can say is make sure to check the spokes once in a while!!!

have a look at this shock

or this one perhaps, but the spring rate will be incorrect....

Ishock with heavy spring = very much money, and still isn't going to have enough valving to handle the abuse of an mx-style mount. I'd steer clear of the 110 shocks and look for a purpose-built monoshock.

right sorry mister motomac but before this aftermarket cdi you need the engine moded at least with a new carb and exhaust, all the new cdi does is take the rpm restrictor off and you need your engine to have the power to rev higher before you put the the new cdi on and as far as the rear shock is concerned get a new one put a long distance travel one on and leave the forks.

a huy on minimotoclub has seen either 2 exactly the same stock pitbikes on a dyno one with the race cdi and one with the stock cdi and it made no difference but it does with engine mods
