Won't run w/o choke

Rode my daughters 04 crf50 for the first time in about 6 weeks and it won't run with out the choke about 1/3 of the way on. Outside temp was 50 deg. It will just die when the choke is turned off even when at operating temp. It ran fine last time we rode. ?

Before I tear into the carb I thought I'd ask on this forum hoping it's a simple fix.

When cleaning the carb, make sure you spray out all the air intake passages with contact cleaner. You cannot change the pilot jet on a stock 50 carb, you have to make sure the air passage from the airbox side of the carb is flushed with contact cleaner. Another common symptom of a clogged or dirty pilot jet is when the bike runs and idles with the choke on, but dies out when you shut the choke off.

ya every thing dirtbkr said. if it dosnt work just take off the bowl and clean out the 2 jets you'll see um
