Valve Shimming Question

Recently, took apart 2004 250r to inspect and shim. Left intake was .003 shimmed to .005 Right intake was .004 shimmed to .005 Left exhaust was .008 shimmed to .010 Right exhaust .009 shimmed to .010 My question is should I purchase smaller shims for the exhaust to make it .011 before I completely reassemble. Pros or Cons to leaving the shims the way they now are.

Ummm, I would say your fine. A lot of people have been going down to .006 or so I think, on the exhaust. Correct me if I am wrong everyone.

.004 on intake and .005-.006 on Exhaust.The valves will last longer.I had my seats cut and new valves installed (www.mxtime.com) They sent the head back bench shimmed to these specs.40+ hours and no problems.I would recomend these specs.
