sloppy rear end

Since I've pulled my bike out for the season (New England) I've noticed that my rear end feels really sloppy. It's almost like I'm riding in deep sand though not as severe. I haven't checked the spokes and the tire runs true. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

wheel bearings, spokes are on the list to

whats your shock like..tire pressure..spokes..is your axel lubed...is your rear axel bolts tight..are the axel blocks on the same mark..is the rim in proper shape?

does ur seat have any holes in it?

why would that have anything to do with it??
