Here's my helmet cam video from Sunday. At the Tulie MX track in New Mexico. The class was combined 30+ nov,am,ex. Im racing nov and the only one on a LITE bike ? !!

I'm no pro, but I like to try to help people: Did anyone else think he would be a little faster if he would come out of the corners a gear lower? Maybe it's just me but it seems like that was where a lot of his time was lost.

Yeah I know the corner speed is kinda slacking. I wish I could practice more but the track only has one practice session a month on Sundays ? . I usually race two class and that was the second race 1st moto. I had some arm pump the last lap ? ..

Not dissing you, but you are losing a lot of time in the corners. Try hitting those berms at the tops of the corners, they help man.

I agree. Cornering is where time is made. Too much in the air looks great, but digging hard through the corners is where it's at. I'm by no meens a fast mx track guy, but I do ride them and I see what the fast guys are doing. This is the area I've been working on the most. Think of an air whip, only on the ground. Forward position going in to the turn in a low gear and nail it coming out!
