how do you no if your bottom end is blown. and if it is blown what parts will it need and how much.

Well, I had the connecting rod sieze on mine. Had to replace the crankshaft and gaskets. I also replaced the rings on the piston and put in a HotCams exhaust cam with auto decompression. I have about $600 in those parts alone, not including the oil and coolant. $450 not including the exhaust cam. Plus I saved a ton by doing the work myself. It was pretty straight forward though. If you know your way around a toolbox, then you should do fine.
