Black DRZ-S?

I was just looking through an old 2001 Suzuki brochure (thinking about a 1200 Bandit for the road) and I noticed that (in the UK at least), one of the colour options for the DRZ-S in addition to the usual yellow and blue is black/silver. There's a small photo, but you can't really see the detail.

Does anyone actually have one of these black bikes? Can you post a picture? Is it a UK/Euro-only thing?

The guy I bought the yellow parts from way back in the fall of 2000 for my S, cause only BLUE in Canada . He was ,or had already ordered all the black plastic and silver metalic gas tank from the UK. They have all three Blu Ylo Blk . My blue gas tank is on __ :D ___'s bike now but I still have the blue fenders in a box along with the stock pipe and soon stock headlight and signals buddy pegs plus the stock seat skin. Oh ya, and a pair of wheels 21" and 18"..And boy do those stock wheels weigh a tone ... :)

I must go get a bigger box :D

I was over home in Ireland on holidays this summer and was helping my brother line out the special test for an enduro, anyway i had been telling him about my 400S in Canada he said he had never seen one up close.

Weird thing is i left for half an hour and when i came back he said two guys had rode up and one was on a 400S he got a run on it too and it was silver/black. I thought he was pulling my leg cause i had never heard of that color :)

NOTE THE TAIL LIGHT :)

Wild FX,

Nice looking bike. I was wondering though, do you ever swap the tires/wheels back and run it off road or do you use it strictly on road?

Sorry that is not my bike!! I will post pics of my bike soon . I am almost done. I go to pick up my bike on the 5th Dec. And I will need a truck load of polish now to keep all those bits I had polished shiny!!STAY TUNED :)

:D Thats not my bike but I plan on still swaping the wheels and taking it off road but only when I get tired of the SM riding :) like that is going to be any time soon,,,, NOT!!!!

Acerbis, carbon fiber, and a little Bumper Black paint for the headlight shroud will make a blue/white DR-Z a blue/black - Here is mine, but it has a pair of MT-21 tires now and that stock 44 tooth sprocket was replaced with a 47 tooth Sprocket Specialists job (I need to get updated pics) .
