My kid wants to get the zip off pants like this guys, I am not sure if I will let him drop the level of protection since the trails we ride get a lil gnarly and full of poison oak. Its one thing to eat it on dirt with the lack of protection but we roll over some pretty jagged rock. My gear saved my butt last weekend.

yea, they are the zip off pants. i ride the pit bike tracks more than anything. and since it's only 10 minutes from the house. i wear the EVS vision knee braces now.
