John's Peak May Poker Run

I am new to Thumpertalk and to the Thumpette but its awesome that there is a place just for the ladies. I am going to the May Poker run up at John's Peak and I am looking for someone to ride the C course with. My boyfriend is going but he will be riding either the A or the B course. I will be riding on my new (ok new to me blaster). Is there anyone who was planning on coming and would like another rider to ride with?

I looked up on Dogpile, and is this in Jacksonville? If so, bummer - we're up around Portland. Do you have a link to the club or something? Maybe we can do it next year.

Hey Mom,

I'm bringing a friend up from Mount Shasta, but we're gonna ride B course since it's our first time up there and we haven't seen the terrain; we're on bikes not quads. It sounds like you have a pretty good idea of the area and difficulty, but if you're inclined to try something a little harder than you would with just the two of you in the woods, a poker run with lots of people around to help you out if you have some trouble is a pretty good time to try it.
