wr450f air pump???????

In the march 2006 dirt bike magazine page 45, they talk about wr450f tricks and tips. They talk about capping off the air pump with caps. Do all wr450s have an air pump?? If so where is it at or where do I cap it off at?? I have an 04, I looked in the service manual, found not one word about a air pump. Whats up??? thanks

The 05 and 06 bikes do. The 04 does not have an air pump

The air pump and AIS are one in the same. AIS = Air Injection System, A fancy smancy way of saying air pump.

The Mod in DB mag was a way to remove it w/o a AIS kit. I little rough but it worked.
