450X suspension linkage

Longshot question here guys -

An oddball rock kicked up while I was idling down a trail this weekend, and did a number on my suspension linkage. The bottom of the triangular linkage has been smooshed, and one of the circular areas that a dust seal fits in is now flat on the bottom instead of round. The other part of the linkage is beat up also, but I'd like to replace it too. I have a line on an 06 450R linkage set, both links, but am having difficulty figuring out if it is the same linkage as an 05X. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks as always, Kevin

I don't think so: go to a dealer, lie on the floor, and compare the two. Or look at thier micro-fiche in the parts dept, and see if the part numbers are the same......

sorry to break the news they are different.

The R lower link is shorter.( 5 mm i think) It would make the back really tall The Kouba link lowering link for a R would work i think it would lower a x 1/4 in

they run 140 if that less than stock.
