Dropped the bike today...

i have cut my levers so they are about 2-1/2 long. i then used 1/2 wide glass tape ( or whatever) then i put shrink wrap over the lever which also works as an insulator in the cold. the result is you can have 2 fingers on the lever and 2 on the bars. which helps in hangin mad wheelies. i can throw some pics later

Like someone else said, the OEM lever was 9 bucks from the dealer... of course, they had to order it... &%$#@!?

I'll try the socket bending trick and hit the OEM store and see what they have going on...

There are no aftermarket levers that will fit the DRZ clutch perch.

I think there are levers that will work...they just don't have the clutch switch. If the clutch switch has been by passed your good to go.

these bikes were ment to be dropped. i drop mine all the time. if i don't ride that day, i kick the bike over just to drop it.

during one of my rides i bent the radiator fan housing and it was like that for weeks. i thought the motor was sure to be blown. during some routine maintainance i found what had happened and pounded the housing out so the fan could turn again. then just the other day i was riding around and the bike was hot and i hear a sound that i hadn't heard in awhile. it was fan. i couldn't believe it! that saved me a couple of hundred $$$.
