I don't think there are any AMA D37 races that are that long. Here is a link to D37 & D38's websites: http://www.district37ama.org/offroad/calendar.php http://groups.msn.com/roadrunneroffroadracing/roadrunners2006schedule.msnw. Best in the Desert runs long races in Nevada mostly. I've never done one but they look like fun http://www.bitd.com/main/. SCORE races Mexico and the last race for the year is the 1000. That may be a bit long.

Weekend of August 12 there is a CODE race in Tecate, BC Mexico.

ORW Gran Prix.

It is not a desert point A to point B race - I believe it is a set course with a certain # of laps.

Nothing up on this race at the CODE web site yet

http://www.codeoffroad.com.mx/

----

I am sure all dessert races in Tecate begin and end at the "Panadería El Mejor Pan" bakery. Open 24 hours for all you evening dessert racers :excuseme:

I dont think even pie is worth racing 100 miles for.

Pie? What the heck are you talking about? Nobody would race 100 miles for PIE! Now a good cobbler on the other hand.... :excuseme:

Touché :excuseme:

Speaking of cobbler I need to invest in a dutch oven this summer while I have some money. Can't think of much better than sitting out in the dez eating piping hot cobbler. :yum:

If your going to race in the desert, you better spell it right or your going to have more pie and cobbler stories. Personnaly, I prefer a good gobbler to a cobbler .

You spelled "personally" wrong.
