I was wondering if anybody knows of any dessert races in so-cal are taking place anytime post july 7th. I'm looking for long ones, 100-200 miles but if you know of any I'll be happy to hear of them. thanks alot -matt

Weekend of August 12 there is a CODE race in Tecate, BC Mexico.

ORW Gran Prix.

It is not a desert point A to point B race - I believe it is a set course with a certain # of laps.

Nothing up on this race at the CODE web site yet

I am sure all dessert races in Tecate begin and end at the "Panadería El Mejor Pan" bakery. Open 24 hours for all you evening dessert racers :excuseme:

I dont think even pie is worth racing 100 miles for.

Depends on what kind of pie.

Pie? What the heck are you talking about? Nobody would race 100 miles for PIE! Now a good cobbler on the other hand.... :excuseme:

Touché :excuseme:

Speaking of cobbler I need to invest in a dutch oven this summer while I have some money. Can't think of much better than sitting out in the dez eating piping hot cobbler. :yum:

anyone got any info on the Best in the Dessert Vegas to Reno race??

If your going to race in the desert, you better spell it right or your going to have more pie and cobbler stories. Personnaly, I prefer a good gobbler to a cobbler .
