How to protect the front brake line

I am running an aftermarket headlight on my MX bike and the brake line will flop around with the mx numberplate in place which has a guide for the cable. I managed to get a zip tie around an opening in the headlight housing but am worried it may eventually wear into the brake line. Apart from layers of duct tape, what should I put over the brake line to prevent this from happening?

In this picture you can see the gap I am referring to as well as the cable. The zip tie isn't real tight and I think it will do the job well enough but I do want to protect the cable from wear.

Greg

throw the brake line behind the plate, thats what i did on my cr, all i had to do was cut out a small opening at the bottom of the numberplate so that the brake line could continue down to the brake.
