Anyone going down for the Moto GP? If not, why? I would stay home if they had that traffic problem again, but I hear they are having shuttle buses for everyone.

Yes its a long drive for me, but I love it!

went last year got stuck there for 6 hours trying to leave on the final day .

but it was worth it , very awesome. the bikes sound sick , TV doesn't do them Justice. go you won't be disappointed.

Laguna rocks! I went down this last January with my Buell for a track day. We parked the toy hauler up on the hill in one of their campgrounds, had a million dollar view. I had so much fun on that track, it was ridiculous!

Some of the local fast guys at that track day were impressing me. I can only imagine what it would be like to see the gods of Moto GP out there on those machines!

I've been camping at the same site every year since 1998 (back when AMA Superbike and World Superbike were the big draw) above turn five and I'll be there again this year - Thursday afternoon through Monday morning. If you live within 3000 miles of Monterey, California and miss MotoGP, you're a total loser
