rotors

what are the difference between the rotors on sale at the TT store?

moose racing

ebc and ebc supermoto kits

Thanks guys :ride:

Can't help with the moose ones, but from personal experience the EBC ones

both standard replacement, and the 280 mm over size one is CRAP.

I have just changed to a standard size Braking Wavey disc, and first impressions are good, but not with EBC pads.

I've just seen an influx of guys using the 320 mm SM rotor and was even thinking about picking it up since I REALLY need to get up to a 320 and it's priced nicely. But who do I trust more than my DRZ bethren...I guess I'll be going Motomaster or Braking like I should have in the beginning.

Just curious... I read a lot of stuff on here about "EBC sucks", but haven't come across a "why" yet?

Why are they junk, easy, they don't work well.

I have been using an EBC 280 mm rotor and calliper bracket for about 12 months.

I have tried 6 different sets of pads, all different, and no go.

I can get lots of stopping power, but only for about 1000 miles at most, then the pads need cleaning, or chucking.

It lacks feel, and is lacking in feel.

I have just fitted a standard size Braking Wavy Disc, so far very good, lots of feel and stops much better than stock, and as good as the EBC was most of the time.

I have just received a set of pads to try, DP pads MX Pro, I'll report back next week, busy fitting big bore at the moment.

And it is far to hot to be working on bikes.

Neil.
