Slipper on a 510 smr

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if a slipper clutch would be a good idea on the street with a 510 smr or if they would burn up to fast.

I know in the dirt or on the track they work wonders but there not cheap so it's not something I want to be replacing all the time.

If it's a good idea what brands are the best.

Thank you

Jacob.

there are only 2 slippers avalable for husqvarna's right now I think, the Surflex and the STM .. yoyodyne might be making one in the near future. as far as a slipper on the street, it might be over kill and a definate attention grabber when your rear section swings out on a turn = ticket magnet ...
