Kibblewhite valves do they need the springs

Just got me a new set of black diamond valves of ebay, do i now need to buy the springs to go with them or can i fit the OEM back in. Yes i know in an idea world you should fit the new springs, and chain and tensioner and blah blah blah but was trying to keep this little rebuild cheap...if i fit them will the engine explode wots the problem?

Yes you need to use thier springs or equal.The valves are not that much money but the spring kit cost over 200.00.

SS weighs a lot more than ti and needs stiffer springs to control them

Bingo !! If you don't replace the stock springs with matching valve springs for SS valves you are asking for major trouble in your near future. Go with a PSI spring kit, not the KW kit.

4-strokes don't like people that try to do CHEEP rebuilds !

your old springs are wore out if your replacing your valves and if u use the old ones u will just ruin you new valves quickly because your old springs are not stiff enought and wont beable to keep up the the cam and will not be insync with it and the valves start floating and is not good
