My 05 YZ125 is turning like absolute CRAP. The sag was wrong but I'm fixing that. My forks are 9 MM from the top of the fork to the top of the top clamp.

How many millimeters up are you guys running your forks in the top triple clamps? I'm not sure what the stock setting from the factory is as I don't have a manual YET.

I run my forks flush with the triple clamps. Is the bike understeering? Increase the rebound dampening, that should help.

Yeah, it's understeering really bad. I increased the rebound, thanks for the tip. ?

As of now, I think my sag was my biggest problem. I had about 60mm too much sag and the bike just would not turn. Does this make sense?

if you have too much sag the rear is riding too low....causing the bike to turn poorly.

Also on the 05's, the AOSS forks can be an issue. They tend to be too stiff in the mid-stroke...not letting the forks compress as much when braking. This makes the bike turn poorly. I had mine revalved and they performed much better on my 250.
