Online resource for factory Husky parts?

Recommended Posts

I can't get my local dealer to look up the  parts I need for a factory tag mount and brake light for my TE510 - always too busy I guess. Anyone know an online or mailorder source for factory Husky parts?

I called Motoexotica and ask for Ann. She looked up the parts for me, then called Husky to see if they were in stock. Caled me back within 10 minutes, then ordered for me. Good Service.........

www.halls-cycles.com

They have the parts on-line but you'd have to call them to order anything.

Bob

I just called Halls earlier this morning for the magnet and clip for the factory speedometer. I have used them before on other stuff and they are great. I live 15 minutes from GP Motorcycles - not to diss them, but I get better deals and customer service when I call Halls.

Next time I run over to Halls, I'll take a picture of their Husky shop. It really looks just like a little old mom & pop lawnmower repair place. The guys there are down to earth husky loving riders with a ton of knowledge of these bikes. There isn't one m/cycle shop in St. Louis that can hold a candle to these guys as far as customer service and stocking parts. I haven't bought a brand new Husky since 1988 but I expect to be cutting a check to Halls for a new one soon.

1.Call Dan at Motoexotica, he will be happy to help you.

2. Order AGAIN from Motoexotica in the future because you were so happy the first time

3. Save all your Invoices from Motoexotica and Fax them to your Dealer in 6 Months so he can see how much business he lost, but be sure to include the following Poem:

It goes something like this..............

Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, if you guys were not so friggin lazy I would have purchased my Parts at your Shop but since you don't appreciate my business I went elsewhere to Motoexotica and am very happy and will never buy from you again.

Hugs and Kisses,

KML

I've ordered twice from Bill's in Salem OR. Both times it was easy and he shipped the same day. I usually need parts after a weekend so I will only deal will shops like Bills that are open on Monday.

I still wish I could do everything on line though. It's nice to go to servicehonda and rockymountian late at night and place an order without having to hope the guy on the other end of the phone got your address and cc number right. That's just part of not owning something from the big 5.

I know. One of the big ones isn't though, maybe it's Halls, not sure. I get stuff from Bill the day after I order though since he is in the same state. If he doesn't have something Motoexotica is the next on the list to call.

Use the Husky USA online down loadable pdf parts publication look up the parts you need and call in the P/Ns. It is a good way to work so you get exactly what you want.

Yup, good tip, and I did that myself. Just don't trust my dealer now, so I wanted a trustworthy source of parts for the future.
