RMZ450 gearing Q

Recommended Posts

Any suggestions for Loudon? Right now running

14/49 for OVRP.

Will a 15T front fit?

If not, I was assuming like 14/39 or something.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Ross

Yes a 15t countershaft will fit. Just slam it on there, start up bike and put in gear, let out the clutch and when the sprocket spins, it will make the necessary clearance between the swingarm tab/plastic guide and sprocket all by itself. You may have to flip the case guard (aluminum 'C' shaped thing) upside down so the chain clears.

We only run a 15t countershaft and change b/t 46-48 rear.
