Stalling when braking?

Recommended Posts

Why would my bike be doing this? It does it every once in a while when stopping suddenly...

Idle too low? I finally installed my 25 pilot, got rid of an intermediate throttle bog I had, and now there's this. Did I mess up my float level?

Same issue here. I suspect 'burned' is right, it's a jetting issue. I have the DJ kit and a Yosh system. This phenomenon happens to me when I stop really hard on the front [brake], or do a stoppie.

Mine is surely not the kickstand kill (in this case anyway ).

fuel level too high, float adjust, needle/seat not sealing properly

How does a tight footbrake cause stalling????

I'd have to go with burned on this one with the high float level but when my bike was stock it would regularily die when braking hard. Turns out it was just really poor jetting and too low an idle.
