Help on pricing!!!

Recommended Posts

Hey i just torn upo my 2004 KX250F engine to bits. It sucked in a ton of dirt and scoured out everything in the top end. All that is good is the transmision. Anyways, it is going to cost to much to repair so i was thinking of selling the rest of my bike out for parts. My bike is in Excellent condition except for the engine ofcourse. But what would i get for it all together with just selling the bike without the engine in it.

Here is a pic, just imagine it with NO ENGINE!!!!:cry:

The dirt should have only entered the combustion chamber. I would think you should only be looking at a piston and maybe a cylinder and some head work (valves & seats cut). Shouldn't be worth scrapping the bike.
