Sea level to 10,000+

Recommended Posts

I've got a '97 Dr350 with the 435 kit, Mikuni TM33 Carb, Vortex air box and a Kientech muffler conversion. I live in the Houston area near sea level and will be riding next week up in Colorado between 8000 and 13000 feet. Any suggestions on adjustments to the carb to help it suck in more of that thin air? Thanks.

We are headed to the Ouray area next weekend. I took my DR up to the Gunnison / Crested Butte area back in '99 when the DR was stock and loved every minute of it.

My needle clip is on the 4th setting from the top and I'm running a 147.5 main jet. The bike runs good here at sea level with the exception of when I get close to red line and it starts to sputter some.
