Hand guards for road..

I'm looking for hand guards for my SM.

Do I need the style with the aluminum bar supporting the guards ?

Or, are the all plastic good enough?

I went with the Cycra Pro bends with small guards. Wicked protection and they look good too. The plastic ones would be fine for wind and small road debris but I opted for the additional protection for my levers, controls and hands. Think of it as insurance.

Most of my E riding is off road but, if I had to get a new set I would get the alluminium bar type again but with a large plastic shield to keep the cold 'wind' out of my fingers.

My old bike had them and I miss them now.

That's a good point, I forgot a decent pair would save your levers.

Those Zeta's sure look nice. does TT sell them?

Typical Euro riding... Splitting lanes, busting mirrors and scrapping boots on cages that get in the way... I miss that...

Anyways, the Cycras Probends with Enduro shields are excellent but I wish they still made them in BLACK!!!
