Hey, I normally hang around the DRZ threads but a friend of muine just donated an old 1987 125 Honda to my cause of causing mayhem. ? It is missing the head and exhaust, otherwise its complete. He just bought a house and it was sitting in the backyard. I was gonna replace the missing parts and slap a new piston and ring in it, probably a new rod. Anything else I should worry about?

Clean and flush the bottom-end with oil. Just basically look everthing over real good.

Thaanks, will do when I pick it up next weekend. From what I can tell it hasn't been registered in about 7 years. That's not gonna be any fun ?

Clean the air filter, carb, change the oil, and do a top end on it. After you get the exhaust, you should be good to go.
