Recommended Posts

I have copied this across from another post I made, as I realised the title wasn't particularly helpful...So here it is again, re-titled!!!

Thanks

Ed.

======================================================

Hi All,

I own an XR400 which has the following mods:

- Wiseco 10.5:1 cr piston (not overbore kit, still 400cc)

- Unifilter ari filter and open cage

- Racing Project exahust (www.racingproject.com - amazing custom built exahusts)

- Arrow special parts header pipe (sligtly wider diameter than stock)

I just purchased a Mikuni Pumper carb (TM36-50) from XrsOnly, which is jetted at 130main and 15pilot.

What do you think would be the ideal jetting for my setup? Would the stock 130-15 be too lean?

Thanks a lot

Ed. :thumbsup:

you will need to install the carb and evulate the running.

I completely agree, I was just wondering if anyone had tried it in similar conditions and had some general guidelines...I will make sure to post my findings once I install the carb.

Thanks

Ed.
