front wheel centering

Recommended Posts

well after a bad get off at comp edge i noticed my front brake is draggin slightly on my brand new rmz 4 fitty. the rotor is even visibly wobbly. i hope the wheel is just out of wack and the rotor isnt bent. what are ur suggestions for aligning the front wheel. i have heard many, including loosing the lower tripple clamps, pushing down on the forks, ect. suggestions??

Sukooks have a history of bent rotors. You problably need a new rotor. They are not that expensive.

Suzuki's have a history of bad front brakes, and rotors...if you suspect you're rotor is bent, then most likely it is. Just replace it.

it's obvious that your rotor is bent. if your wheel was bent the rotor wouldn't be wobbly, the only other way for it to be wobbly is if your hub got bent but it would never bend, just crack.

if it isn't that bad try straightening it out with a wrench, if you can't get it perfect then just replace it, they aren't that expensive anyways.
