Just bought one of these on Thursday!!!

Hi Ya! I just decided I would share my joy and excitement and tell ya'all I just bought myself an '06 kx250f on Thursday. I never imagined that day that I would be going home with a new bike-life can be crazy and surprising sometimes!!! anyways, this is my second bike. My first is an '05 KLR250 (that I'm actually still trying to sell...) any advice and/or tips would totally be appreciated! I'm super excited but somewhat nervous about this bike. Thanx! ?

basically just keep an eye on all the bolts, spokes, and check the valves every so often, do that and regulat maintanence and you should be ok

Get a Works Connection skid plate for it since the stock plate is not much thicker than a beer can. Worth every penny!

If you have big feet you may want to move the shifter up a notch.

If you are tall you may want to move your bars forward a tad, really helped to relieve my arm pump.

Be sure to grease your hotstart in the carb or it will seize in the carb.

Blue loctite any bolts that attach the plastic.

Other than that the bike is awesome.

Cool. Thanx for the feedback! This week has been hella hectic so my new toy has to take a way back seat at the moment ? but I can't wait to go rip it up! For now I hug my bike and tell it how beautiful it is!
