I see that your post is a few weeks ago, but I'll throw this out anyway, since you asked.

I've been up there a half dozen times or so. The Mission track is, well, nice. There are some nice tables, and a mild whoop section and a step down jump. There was a set of three doubles, but after two kids broke their legs on them in early August, they filled in the middle with dirt to make three tables instead. The changes are great, that way one can practice the doubles without the huge risk of effing up. Track material is a light soil, almost sandy. Some people run a sand front tire.

The racing is quite low key. There are maybe two dozen people in the stands on Tuesday nights. It is a great way to break into racing. They run race of each class, totalling twelve races. If you win the race, you win the class.

The other racers are quite friendly and helpful. I'm making some friends out there, and I'm not the most outgoing guy around.

As far as I can tell there are only three tracks in the whole lower mainland anyway. Pemberton, Mission and Agassiz. I've only been to the first two.

Pemberton is great too. $20 all evening and all day on the weekends. Lots of helpful people out there as well. 2.5 hrs from Vancouver though. Mission's practices (and probably Agassiz too. Haven't been there to confirm.) are arranged by class. That means that in a six hour practice, one can get four fifteen minute rides in, unless you practice in more than one class. Fifteen minutes of riding every 1.5 hours. To me this is too long a wait between rides, so I spend the weekend days at Pemberton.

Here is the link, if you don't already have it:

Cheers.
