Hard gettin in gear

I own a 99 TTR 250 and i found that especially this weekend it was hard getting it into first and second and sometimes third gear...I rode some really fine sand trails and im wondering if some sand got in there somehow ...Is there a way to lube up the shifter so it penetrates without taking everything apart??? What type of lube could i use too?

You have to have equal paddlers on each side of the boat.

Depends on the weight of the wakeboard, the heavier it is the speed or MPH's you have to have.
