problem with my 2002 RM125

I cannot seem to budge the damn axle bolt that you need to loosen to adjust the chain. Are the threads regular or reversed??

are you talking about the axle itself...or the little chain adjustment bolts? If you're talking about the adjuster bolts that go into the swingarm...its regular threads...its just seized. same thing happened to me. try penetrating oil...but the best thing to do is to heat up the swingarm. I just used a standard hair dryer. I got it to turn a 1/4 turn one way, then back the other way, then another 1/4 turn, and so on and so on...till i got it fully loosened. Just dont force it! It also helps if you take the wheel off...gives you some more room. With the wheel off, try using a good 6-point socket. Like I said...dont force it! breaking it or stripping it out is much worse!

same thing happende to mine. i strip[ped it with a wrench, so the deep 12mm 6pt socket did the trich for me.

if the axle nut is stuck, then use some penetrating oil, then reef on er
