Whats up with all the offroad races getting cancelled

It seems like every year this happens. The start of the year we have alot of races lined up for the offroad series , and about 1/3-1/2 get cancelled . I heard a rumor that rivercity is off, and rimrock also is this true ? because this sucks ?

looks like river city canceling is not a rumor, this is posted on their web site:

Sorry, but the Hare Scrambles is Cancelled!

We’re sorry to report that due to land use issues and the inability to switch event dates with another club, we will be unable to sponsor a Hare Scrambles this year!

As we previously reported, the Cranberry Lake property, where we planned to hold the event, was “shut down” by anonymous, concerned citizens.

Since then, we have been unable to match a riding area with a date, to make the event happen.

We’re truly sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused!
