06 head on 05?

Hi; Please forgive me if this has been beaten to death, every time I try to do a search I get the "heavy web traffic" notice and search is disabled.

Will an OEM 06 head/valves/springs retrofit perfectly on an 05 cylinder? I notice that the part numbers are different. How about the cam/cam holder, etc?

Would this be a good way to reduce valve troubles, or will I have the same troubles?

Yes it will fit and the 06 head is supposed to have a more durable valve seat material.

What about an 07 head? Not only would you benefit from the seat material but they have smaller intake valves(better longevity perhaps).

Nobodies got 07 microfische or comp software for the 07 yet

The 07 head has smaller intakes, and requires the new larger carb Honda is putting on.

The 07 head does NOT have smaller intake valves it is the exhaust side that is one millimeter smaller.cheers
