Jetting for the potatoe

Recommended Posts

So i got the quiet insert for my yosh pipe today (the potato) as it's known and my otherwise perfect jetting turned to pooh, it has the dreaded low end bog when you smash the throttle for a wheelie. I'm at about 200m elevation, the temperature was around 36c-38c, high humidity, my bike is an S model with stock carb, full yosh pipe, 3x3 mod with DJ kit 142.5main,25 pilot, fs 1.5 turns out, DJ needle on 3rd clip. I'm thinking i need 1 size smaller pilot jet let me know what you think.

Wow really? on further testing it does have a slight drop in idle below 1 turn but is uneffected from 1.5 and up. Another factor i forgot to mention is i have the extended fuel screw from keintech, not sure if that makes a difference.

the origional main jet size i posted was wrong i have a 142.5 in not a 140. Should i put the 140 in and the stock 22.5 pilot back in?
