How to: Bowl berm?

Recommended Posts

There's this bowl berm at my local track and it's probably the place I'm the slowest on (except maybe that tricky hardpack off-camber  ). I need help to get that bowl faster. The thing is: There's minimal support (berm) on the outside line and I'm not able to square off turns yet.

Any help would be appreciated :applause: ...even for that off-camber. :ride:

Charge into and turn the wheel to the way the turn exits like if its a left hand turn point it left, if its right point it right and slam on the back brake and you're bike will slide out from under you but end up pointing straight in the way you need to go, then just hit the gas.

u can practice on your bicycle to help you get the feel of squaring up a little. same principal.

Should I have any specific body position? To square it AND ride around it? The thing I don't like about bowl berm is the lack of support like a berm or a rut. It's also awkward since the curve is at an angle. I need some technique and getting use to.
