When your talking about a Z71, isn't cheap and reasonable the same thing ?

Sorry, I don't mean to give you a hard time........ good luck in your search. People who have Z71's seem to like them and put them on a pedestal. It's just an option on a truck IMO.

yep .. the Z71 is just an option. i had a 94 Z71 and what you got back then was, bilstein gas shocks, aluminum skid plates, 265 series tires, and the decal on the side of the bed. there is absolutely no performance diff in a Z71 and a reg, truck. so unless GM has changed their way of doing things i would think they are still the same way. the gas shocks are nice if you are gonna do some off-roading but other than that i couldnt tell any major diff in my Z71 and my buddies standard truck. i loved mine and it had 180,000 trouble free miles on it when i sold it and i still see it on the road every so often. good luck with your search, scott
