front number plate

Recommended Posts

If you are not actually racing, keep a headlight on the bike, it is a good warning to oncoming traffic.

That said, I put an Acerbis headlight on mine because it is a lot less weight and it has a number plate which protects the speedo and can also display my sponsors' message too (I wish)

Check in the TT store.

I've used both an Acerbis number plate intended for a Honda CR250, and a Suzuki DR-Z125L number plate. Both worked well but the DR-Z125 plate was great...it was a little smaller than the CR one andjust seemed to fit better.

Here's what the DR-Z125 one looked like:

I've read that getting rid of the headlight can cause rectifier problems because of the extra wattage that now has to be dissipated? What is normally done to counter this? Is some kind of resistive block put in the system?
