anti-freeze

is there a specific kind of anti-freeze that u use in a dirtbike? if there is which kind? i have a 02 yz250f and need to change the anti-freeze. thanks in advance for any help.

None really specific as long as it is compatible with aluminum components. MOST of the modern 100,000+ mile anti-freeze's (red in color) are aluminum compatible.

I would not use the orange stuff, use the green stuff. We had a discussion about this a while back, do a search...

In my 02 I always run the Prestone Premixed 50/50 stuff. Never had a problem.

I have run the red since new, No problems. NEVER have overheated either. Works great in my bike and green will never touch it.

Use whatever works with aluminum and you wont have a problem.
