needle adjustment

Recommended Posts

hey there,

I was having a rich problem on my wr250. I was advised to go to a 180 main and the fourth slot on the needle. It seems to have helped quite a bit. I see in the posts that a number of people are running the c-clip on the third slot of the needle with my bike and similar altitudes. I want to try it, but I don't want to run the bike lean. How will I know if I am running leaner than needed/wanted?

Thanks!

Danny

Id say give it a try if it runs better in the mid range leave it if it doesnt put it back but youre not going to hurt it trying unless maybee it runs terribly and you run it like that for a prolonged period of time.
