Top end kit rips 2005 crf250

Recommended Posts

I put in a kit from Ron Hamp Piston cam and head. OHH my .

This thing feels like a small 450. Crack the throttle and the power is right there.

It pulls hard thru the mid and great top end.

A friend rode it and was way impressed, he races a 450.

It idles right down easy and linear power. You can feel her come alive

but no arm ripping hit nice and smooth bottom to top.

Ron thanks so much for a making a great product.

I have rg3 suspension offset clamps and a bunch of bolt on goodies.

Man this thing is so much fun :ride:

This was my first top end rebuild .

I rode this bike today. That little CRF with RHC's head work, cam, and J&E piston is a cheater bike for sure! It feels like a mini-450 and pulls hard from bottom to top.

I used to think that the only way to ride those baby-F bikes was to make them scream, but this bike goes right from the crack of the throttle.

I give it the thumbs up! Anyone that want to hop up their 250F will get their $$ worth from Ron.

But I'm still not giving up the 450!

Call him and ask for yourself or send him a PM. Sort of depends on what you want - a complete bolt-on ported head, just porting, etc, etc.

His fees aren't exorbitant like some of the other hop-up shops...

atleast 2500

Geez. You can get a Stage 2 Assembled Mod head from Pro Circuit for that price. Plus that includes the PC cam, PC valves/springs and PC race piston. However, I dont doubt Rons stuff rips.

You can get the same setup from Ron Hamp for about half of that.

I suggest that interested people actually call him and get a quote.
