kickstand

hey,

i have a raised 230 and the kick stand is waaay to short. someone told me that a xr 400 kick stand is a little bit longer and fits perfectly on the 230 and it stands up perfectly! but all i can find on ebay is an xr250 kick stand. so my question is:

is the xr 250 and 400 kick stand the same length? i looked at the schematics for both of them to compare the part # but i cant find them on

the schematics.

I looked at the schematics for both the 250 and 400 at BikeBandit. The part#s are not the same.

I BELIEVE that they are the same height. The xr250 stand is pretty long. I measured mine (2003 xr250r) and it is about 13.75"-14" from the center of the bolt hole to the bottom. Hope that helps you.

I measured my XR400's stand, from center of the bolt to the top of the foot, and its 14.75".
