throttle stall

Recommended Posts

My new SM stalls occasionally. Especially when cold. When I stop at a light, I normally place the gear in neutral and relax the clutch. When I pull the clutch (fully to the grip), & hit first gear it will be idling fine. At the slightest twist of throttle it dies. Starts right up again - but this has happened a few times, and doesn't happen when it's warmed up good.

Any ideas? And is idling in neutral with the clutch out good procedure?

it needs to warm up fully is all.

i have yet to jet, and untill it's uber warm it will do that consistantly as well, i blip the throttle at the first few red lights to make sure im not sitting there in the way trying to get it to fire again. jetting will probably help also... im too broke to do so.
