rear end dancing around

Recommended Posts

The track I ride has a lot of holes and ruts. when I ride hard on the gas the rear end has a tendency to dance from side to side thru the rough stuff, it has gotten complety sideways on me sometimes. I am somewhat new to trying to tune the suspension and would like to know where I should start changing the clikers. Thanks for the help.

At 210lbs. you are a little soft (spring wise if stock) on the shock. Where are your "free" and "rider" sag numbers? On the KTM you need to run a little more sag than you do on other bikes........30-40mm's free along with with 115-135mm's rider.

Where are your clickers set at? Possible stiffen the comp. a little and make sure the rebound is at least 16-20 clicks out.

Check your fork height also......closer to flush seems to work best.
