How does a YZ250F read on a A/F meter?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering how does a YZ250F normally read on a A/F meter with stock jetting at about sea level. Because my butt dyno feels like the low end is alittle lean. But I also feel like every else is lean. But I just want to make sure I am going the right direction. Because I am going to start actually start jetting. Instead of being lazy.

But I am starting to be able to feel the differences between lean and rich but I just want to make sure I am going the right way.

Judge your jetting in your own conditions and adjust for your needs.

If you run 6 different throttle settings (holding the throttle steady),and let the motor go from slow to high revs. You will have a spread of lean or rich conditions over a wide range. The answer isn't as simple as suggesting the low-end is entirely lean.

The readings below were from a '06 YZ250F during jetting tests.

I hope this is helpful.
