Recommended Posts

i just put on my new Michelin MS tire.. it is really nice.. but while putting it on.. a TINY tiny bit of it didnt completely meat up with the rim.. called mis-beading maybe?.. anyways.. it is being really stuburn and wont attach all the way... will it hurt it riding on it?... i tried pumping it full of air as much as i could to get it to meet up.. but it wont.. i took it out and rode it and no problems.. but for long term.. will it hurt it riding??

thanks

You really need to lube the bead of the tire before airing it up and then you need to put around 30 psi in the seat it. If it won't seat. You may be able to just take it for a nice little ride to get it to seat in if the non seated portion isn't by the rim lock.

In that case, let the air out, break the bead, soap it up real well with soapy water and try again. You may need to give it a bounce or two after it's aired up.
