my friend has a 90 cr125 and i am helping him tear down the motor cause he is putting some new rings and a piston in it. But we can not get the jug off. We pulled as hard as we could and the thing just wont come off. Anybody have and tips or ideas? any help appreciated.

Hit it with a rubber mallet at 45 degree angles, alternate sides each blow. It's not uncommon to take a little convincing to get these things off.

If you don't have a rubber mallet, use a 2x4, or some other piece of wood. Also be careful where you mount the wood to pound on. Like the others said, a 45 degree angle works good. Personally, I have found it easiest to hit the exhaust side from the bottom some how and both sides of the intake from the side.

Just DON'T use a normal hammer, you will most certainly ruin something.
