2 flats in 4 days

Recommended Posts

:ride: Last Sunday I picked up a 4" framing nail in my 06 SM rear tire. Right smack in the center of the tread. Took it off and the local shop put new tube in it on Monday - good to go, minus $32. Seems like a bit much I know, but I'm not going to mess with tire irons and such and screw up the nice rims.

Today I go out to go to lunch, flat AGAIN! A big drywall screw right dead in the center of the tread of the rear tire.

I like the sticky tires, but I don't like what's been stickin' IN them! Are these tire types nail/screw magnets?

32.00 is not bad if they did a good job & did'nt scratch the rim.

I never had a problem with that type tire, maybe it's just bad luck !!

True. But then I'd I'd have to leave North San Diego County. It's one big  construction zone! I went to a carwash in the morning. Probable some construction truck hosed out his bed. &%$#@!.
