The guy has great feedback and has sold several of these. In fact, if you look at his feedback closely, one buyer hauled a DRZ400SM for 8 hours with no problem. I am seriously thinking about buying one for times when I don't want to use my trailer.

It looks like an imitation of the Sportcarrier I use. It works great and I have hauled my YZ all over the state of Colorado with it. Beats a trailer anyday for hauling a single bike. The Sportcarrier runs $300 new. I bought mine on Craig's list for $150 used.

Obviously as pictured on ebay, the motorcycle is not adequately secured at all.

Would be nice it it had extra angle iron (aluminum perhaps) in front and back for ratchet strap attachement points.

i was acually scared to buy one of these cuz i didnt trust tie downs to hold it from falling off on the freeway, but it acually holts it just as good as it is in the bed of the truck...

i even bomed down a rugged trail in the desert with it on the back going like 60 and it was secure

I bought one for short trips and it works great no securing issues. I use it on my jeep Wrangler with bar straps and one around the back tire. I have taken my 450 on some 200-300 mile trips with no problems.

nocturnal, I bought several months ago and have used it several times without issue.

As someone else stated, it would be nice to see another tie down point. I just use another tie down on the backend to keep it from bouncing out. I have no complaints and the anti-wobble part works well too.

I bought this exact rack from ATVxpress a couple of months ago and use it to carry my KLX 300. I have used it over lots of 4-wheel drive roads and have had zero problems. Make sure to use ratchet tie-downs as the movement on the back of your vehicle is more extreme than in the bed of the truck. I would highly recommend this rack as one person can easily load/unload the bike.

My carrier has angle iron bolted to main chanel piece at right angles.....both at the front tire and rear.

This offeres a better point to ratch strap on to.

I have the exact same system ast KX250F and it workes great. I use it on a jeep liberty and as an extra to the two basic straps, take one strap and go from back hooking point over the seat to the front hooking point, and this really helps hold the bike in place. Its great to be able to cruise at 75-80 and not worry about the bike.

Works Awesome...Great deal for the money.

It's a little scary thinking about the lateral motion at stops/go's, but you get used to it.

My advice for the paranoid who do not want to see they're baby hit the pavement @ 70mph:

1) Double tie-downs at the bars. (bungee top and bottom hooks together to keep constant tension on tie-down)

2) Put bike in gear (1st)

3) Bike may have tendency to want to roll backwards in left hand turns, so strap rear wheel down (or swingarm)

Enjoy! $120 is not bad for a real sturdy lightweight hitch carrier.

I have one from that exact dealer on Ebay. It's excellent for the money. I hauled my wife's TTR125 on the FRONT (I was towing the Travel Trailer) of my GMC all the way to Colorado and back to Cali. No problems. Like NorCal Tom, I used an extra strap on the swingarm to make it super safe..... my only downfall? Was having to scrape all the bugs off the TTR. ?
