Recommend a new mod/part for less than $100.00

Recommended Posts

Probably way to broad of a question but I would like to hear some recommendations.

Things I don't need:

ASV levers (not that they are less than 100 anyway)

New tires (just bought Pirelli front and rear)

Excel Rear rim on order

Front DID anodized rim on order.

DID Chain VT

Air Filter (got a spare)

Chemicals (plenty of No Toil, etc)

Graphics

Already have new riding pants, jersey, boots, goggles, etc.

FMF bike stand

Grips

So what else can anyone think of for less than $100???? Just throw some ideas out there.

THanks.

A hundred bucks worth of rad guards/braces and a glide plate! I'm assuming you already have handguards.

I did considet this but I'll keep the stock ones for now.

Anodized goodies off ebay (wheel spacers, oil fill caps, chain adjusters, ect.)I do like anodized stuff. I'll run a search.

I forgot to mentoin. i do have one of these on the way from Flatland (long story)

100 dollars worth of time at your favorite track

Already taken into account. Just want some stuff for the bike now.

I do need to get some rad guards sooner or later. Skid plate on the way, hopefully. Nope, no hand guards.

Try the Acerbis UNIKO handguards. I run those and they do a great job protecting your hands from roost and small rocks. If you want wraparaound handguards, those will protect your hands from anything short of a cliff drop.

I've seen it moab and while the stock is a bit of a pain I can deal with it for the time being. I did order the napalm screw thingy hoping that might help a bit. Thanks for the info either way.

Kent - Yeah, you'll probably see another thread of mine in the near future titled "Radiator smashed, recommend some braces". Truth is I was going to get the Flatland ones until they ticked me off with their skid plate. I know, still no excuse but I am stubborn. So I will add the braces to my "sooner" list.

I grabbed my new 2006 CRF250R CDI for $65 shipped new. But I like the $100 worth of track time tip better!
